So another "Ashley" came along (a friend's sister).

The movie was a lot scarier than "The Grudge" and "Ring 2", though there was only one part that really freaked my out: when the little boy went to piss, and that orange-looking guy with blood dripping down and yellow eyes appeared right next him. The movie was good, scary, though I don't react too much and so I think my friends don't believe I'm scared. that's my stubborn personality...

PASSED THE DRIVING TEST!!

Wai~! Finally got my drivers license at around 3:50 p.m. after two years of carrying around my permit!
I got to the police station a little before my 2 o' clock appointment, but all the parking was taken, so I just drove around in parking lot for about five minutes. then finally I double-parked and snuck in the back door to the office. An old lady was willing to give me her parking, but she came out about 6 minutes later, and I didn't need to park there. so I waited a little longer and finally got a stall to take my test. Once the instructor got in the car, I saw a car behind me blocking me in. so I thought, i was going to fail right then since I didn't do anything to get them to move. When they finally did, the entire test consisted of simply driving around the block; no u-turns, no parallel parking, nothing. even so I got marked off for not yeilding the right of way after a stop. the entire test only took 10 minutes! then i had to wait to get the actual license. there were about 19 people ahead of me... so about an 1 1/2 hours past before I finally took my picture and was free to drive.

the wait was long, but there was another person who just passed and she made the time fly. She talked about he past, and how she didn't pass on the first try b/c her damn instructor doesn't know how to drive! and so she had to come again and again to take the test. she went for 4 straight days to get a spot, but only today she did. the first day she went at 1am, and there were like 8 people waiting in front of her! apparently they come at 8pm and sleep over. that's how unorganized the system is. anyway, just my rant to remind me when i took the test, and to remember Pero? Gero??? don't even know her name, but oh well.AAS
